Important Documents
Your Very Special Heart™ and Globe have a unique document storage feature giving you two options for document storage – Public and Private. You choose which documents will be Public (readily available to emergency personnel) and which will be Private (password protected and encrypted).
Option 1- Public Documents, such as:
- Medical release and parental consent forms - these forms are essential if your children are in someone else’s care (nannies, babysitters, etc).
- Organ donor forms
- DNR forms - make sure your wishes are followed
- X-rays and MRIs - that may assist emergency personnel
These Public Documents are viewable at any time - along with your Emergency Medical Information page. This way they are immediately available to emergency personnel in the event you are incapacitated.
Option 2 - Private Documents, such as:
- Passports - essential for traveling
- Visas
- Driver’s licenses - always have a copy if yours is lost or stolen
- Advance directives
- Credit cards - for immediate cancellation or renewal
- All other important documents
These documents are password protected and encrypted by your Very Special Heart™ software. They remain private until you use your password to login to your Very Special Heart™ or Globe.
